Extreme Action 120% (EX120) Revitalizant rebuilds, repairs and protects worn metal in manual transmissions. It starts by filling in any scratches or worn surfaces in the metal (gears, bearings, distribution blocks, clutches, etc.), restoring geometry and reversing wear. EX120 then coats the treated surfaces with a layer of ceramic-metal to protect treated metal from future wear. EX120 can be universally applied to manual and robotized transmissions, sequential gear boxes, including Direct Shift type, transfer cases and differentials. No matter how well a manual transmission is maintained, high heat and friction causes metal to become worn, scratched, and deformed over time. The destruction of the surface layer occurs in high-friction areas, where entire groups of atoms – clusters - may tear off under extreme loads. Until now there was no way to reverse this inevitable metal wear.

EX120 starts repairing scratched and worn metal as soon as it is added to the gearbox. Revitalizant acts as a catalyst for rebuilding and repairing metal in areas of excessive thermal energy. It activates the absorption process of carbon through the surface layer which results in the formation of metal carbides. Revitalizant rebuilds metal at a molecular level, atom-by-atom. A new durable protective coating is formed with the help of carbides and metal particles. Because it has a self-regulating maximum thickness it does not cake. Diffusion of the protective layer into the metal results in an extra durable gradient coating with positive pressing stress forming along the entire treated surface in the final stage of Revitalization. The treated metal is now rebuilt and protected with diamond-like film of ceramic-metal, resulting in smoother operation and longer life.

Application:

Ensure the syringe is at room temperature so the contents flow freely. Empty out the contents of the syringe into the transmission fluid filler neck of a gear box, transfer case or differential (see the Table)

Note:

  • A decrease in mechanism’ noise level from the very first hour of operation is a sign that the revitalization process has begun
  • If improvement in mechanism' operation disappears, it indicates substantial wear of the unit – in this case the dosage should be doubled
  • If there is no improvement in operation after 100-200 km (approx. 60-120 miles), you are most likely dealing with inaccurate diagnostics
  • Revitalizant is compatible with all types of oils for mechanical transmissions. It doesn’t enter in chemical reactions with them and doesn’t change their viscosity and other physical-chemical properties
  • The protective metal-ceramic coating is formed on any operative mechanism, however, if the state of the unit is critical (100% wear), the destroyed parts should be replaced

    Good stuff made a big difference. Put this in a berlingo van that had done 208k crunchy second gear it has not gone completely but has made a massive improvement i would use it again and recommend it.

    Xado products really work, there is a good video on the tube explaining what it does. All I can say is I've put it in a few high mileage old gearboxes that have made all manner of horrible noises and every single one given a bit of time to work it's magic has seen a drastic improvement.

    300 miles down and gearbox drone and whine gone on a 130k gearbox. It also suffered from a vibration from the gearstick now a slight minor occasional vibration . Appears to work with ease.

    I was sceptical that this would work but thought I would try it in my 1970 Morris Minor. The gear box was noisy with a slight whine. I was surprised that even after only a few miles there has been an improvement, the whine has gone and it does seem less noisy, time will tell if it continues to improve, but so far very pleased.

    Recently I was rear ended and my van was written off. As we all know when you don't need something the choice is seemingly limitless but when you are on a time crunch it's always a different matter. So after three weeks of time-wasting fools it was the day before the courtesy van was being collected and there was one van left to buy. Generally it was good but gearbox had a harshness with revs suggesting bearings. I hoped fresh oil would sort but after discovering half the quantity I was concerned, new oil to the correct level helped but was no cure. Looking on eBay I found this and thought it was worth a punt, it's been in for over two weeks and the roughness has virtually gone plus the acceleration has improved ,if you have a gearbox that isn't too far gone this might be the answer! Looking to get some for the car next!

    I have used Xado Revitalizant for a year or two now, and have found the following benefits:- almost no oil burning between services, lively acceleration, estimated mileage between tank fill-ups up from around 450 mls. to 530 mls. or more, and almost zero emissions on MOT TEST.

    Once inside the tranny-box the shifting felt much better, it felt stronger like it has more viscosity. Used synthetic Penrite initially as the base transmission fluid and then added this after 20,000km. Once Xado went it felt fresh and tough again. I've used this before and the only downside is that the 'tough' viscous feeling goes away after 20,000km...until I drop the flue and refill with fresh synthetic. But, for $20 it's an easy, simple and quick way to freshen up the shifting feel and keep the box going for longer.
