Erratic engine RPM is commonly seen in vehicles equipped with electronic fuel injection, and it typically reflects inconsistencies in how air and fuel are metered and combusted. Potential causes include faulty sensors (like the throttle position sensor or idle air control valve), dirty or leaking injectors, vacuum leaks that disrupt the air-fuel ratio, software calibration issues in the ECU, or inconsistent ignition signals. These irregularities can lead to surging, hesitation, or stalling—especially at idle or during throttle transitions—making diagnostic precision essential when tracking down the root cause.

- Poor functioning of the idle air control valve, mass airflow sensor, and throttle valve position sensor. It is recommended to replace or clean the above mentioned machinery with the Verylube Cleaner product.
- Air ingress in the system.
- Poor functioning of the fuel feed system as a result of clogging of the injection nozzles. It is recommended to use XADO AtomEx Petrol (Gasoline) Multi Cleaner injector flush product in this case.
- Poor functioning of the ignition system. It is recommended to conduct diagnostics and testing of glow plugs, spark plug wires and ignition coils.
- Failure of the electronic engine control unit (EECU). In such a case, the control unit cannot produce the proper signal for the correct functioning of the engine injection nozzles. At this point, professional diagnostics at the service station are needed.

Application
