revitalization starts in the areas of heaviest wear, as this is
exactly this location where there is the greatest friction that
will start the revitalization process. After
several minutes after XADO will start the revitalization
process, a Cermet
(ceramic\metallic) layer will then appear on the damaged area of
the piston, cylinder and ring.
If
you compare the two diagrams above, after the XADO revitalization
and restoration has been completed, the scored areas of the
cylinder and piston walls has disappeared. As there is now no
further area of friction between the piston, rings and the
cylinder walls and the revitalization and restoration
will stop and no further cermet layer will be laid down.
